OUR STORY
From a small desert village to your journey
I was born in Sidi Ali, a small village on the edge of the Sahara, where I went to primary school for six years. Then I moved to Erfoud to continue my studies, with a plan to become a civil engineer.
In high school I spent my weekends and holidays in the Merzouga desert. I fell in love with it, mostly because of the people: every week I met travellers from a new country, curious about the dunes and the life around them.
When I finished school, I knew engineering was not my path. I wanted to meet people and show them my villages. So I left my studies and began guiding camel treks for hotels and desert camps.
Over time my real passion became the road. I drove travellers across Morocco for different companies, from the imperial cities to the Atlas and back to the Sahara. Today Bahma Tours is how I share all of it with you, the way I would with family.
